Linuxカーネルのnilfs2サブシステムにおいて、ユーザーがFITRIMコマンドを送信し、end_blockが期待より小さい場合にアンダーフローが発生する脆弱性が修正されました。このアンダーフローは非常に大きな破棄要求を発生させ、ブロックデバイスの処理が長時間ブロックされることでシステムがハングする可能性がありました。今回の修正により、end_blockが不正に小さい場合でも処理は安全に終了し、過剰な破棄要求が防止されるため、本脆弱性による影響を回避できます。
